Back in the WPS days we would have a game by game thread for pre/during/post game comments and assessments. Sometimes I would start them, sometimes other fans would start them. Usually the week of the game sometime. Feel free to post your thoughts.
Well, the field is bad as I said in other threads, but that is what they have so I must get over it. Chalupny played very well and on top scored a goal. Masar ran a lot, but it seems that she would lose the ball a lot. These ladies go at each other very hard; the refs seem to be calling a hockey game with their no calls (on both sides). I think Seattle looked better the first half, at least the most part of the first half. To me it seemed like Chicago took control the second half, and had some very good chances. They had a good IPA beer for sell, so that was nice (Revolution IPA I think it was called). oh yes, long lines to get tickets, I was on the wrong line for season tickets, so I did not want to form back up again, so hopefully next game I can get there earlier and pick up my tickets.
Check this really cool video of fan experience from the Red Stars vs. Reign game. The attendance may not have been great but it was quality attendance.
