Oh I come up here a few times a year and the family lives right on the front range, so I'm pretty used to that by now. The week of altitude farts are the biggest physical annoyance.
If you’re ever around the Boulder area I’d really suggest taking the drive up Boulder Canyon to Nederland. It’s only takes about 20-30 mins, is a beautiful drive and Nederland is a pretty awesome little hippie-ish kinda town.

My daughter is a junior at Colorado and we took a day trip to Nederland last time we were there. Highly recommend it if you’re into funky mountain towns. great title for a song...Funky Mountain Town.
