Yeah, they are horrible. Such a shame they are not in relegation trouble. Well, for the time being. 1-3.
That loss pretty much ensures that they are not qualifying for the Europa league; 5 and 6 behind Fulham and West Ham with 6 games to go.
Watching AM vs Deportivo, Aguero definitely is a world class player waiting for a big club to get their hands on, other interesting prospect there was Guardado, excellent dribbler, teams like Tottenham should definitely have a look even Chelsea. Raul Garcia was another midfield talent that stagnated a bit since his move from Osasuna.
Lyon 2-2 Monaco shame they couldnt hang on after twice leading check this out: 1 Olympique de Marseille 31 61 2 Olympique Lyonnais 31 60 3 FC Girondins de Bordeaux 31 59 4 Toulouse FC 31 56 5 LOSC Lille Métropole 31 56 6 Paris Saint-Germain FC 31 56 7 games to go. Lyon have won 2 out of last 6. maybe the streak ends this year?
I wouldn't be so sure. I expect one of Hull, Citeh and Newcastle to pull something off. FSW is not concentrating on the league. The Gerrard "injury" is proof of that.
I probably am one of those who dont think he is among the best potential players we can get but it makes no sense to just buy him to facilitate Ljajic because we already have Vidic who is a Serbian legend/icon.
How the ******** does David Ngog's weak ass header make it to number 5 on sport center top 10? It wasnt even close to the best goals in that game, let alone the weekend. Also, that soccer lovin fool that always complains about weak plays making the top 10, this ********er had nothing to say about that weak ass goal.... how whack sportcenter.
Sportscenter doesn't actually analyze the goals though. They literally just pick 1 a week arbitrarily and stick it into the Sunday Sportscenter to look more worldly and accepting of the sport. The only time they pay attention is when it's a ludicrous goal - I'm thinkin Essien against Arsenal a year or so ago when he hit a 35 yd scorcher in the 80+ to equalize, or Ronaldo against Portsmouth, etc. In Sportscenter's defense, the ticker now does include European football scores. I think they do a different league's scores everytime the ticker rotates around to "Soccer". And they'll actually show the goalscorer's names if their Americans, ala Deuce.
Couple random things - Luton Town just fell out of the Football League. Team's been in it for almost 90 years, just brought 40k to Wembley for the Johnstones Paint Trophy last weekend and won it - but they started off at -30 points due to financial issues, so it was always gonna be tough. Apparently at a UEFA meeting before the Chelsea Liverpool 1st leg, some Chelsea official told Larsen, the match ref, that they "would not be too excited" if Larsen carded those players already on a yellow. UEFA could investigate.
But when they do highlights, the douchebag announcer du jour usually make a stupid comment about a "high scoring" 1-0, 2-0 match......
Huddlestone is a great passer. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5186452,00.html Not a fighter I think, but the passing qualities of Scholes can be done.
I agree. Huddlestone's passing is not even close to Scholes' passing ability, either. Haven't signed him since FM07. He's been good at Depotivo when he's been fit. I'm thinking a Madrid or Barca might snap him up
I love how even Schuster knows that Ronaldo isn't a pure winger yet that idea seems to be lost on our coaching team.
Yeah, he called out Ronaldo's style pretty much on point. He has done a decent job this year as a pure winger, but that isn't his role.
so has that pigshit #8 captain swandive been confirmed yet? TSN has the all english tie and setanta apparently has rugby ?? i mean i know nothing about rugby besides it hurts so i am assuming there is a big final on today?
