Now that I am away maybe the Galaxy will finaly have the decency of winning the MLS Cup in front of its loyal fans. The opportunity to reward the greatest fans in MLS is at hand and it must be accomplished. Although it will painful not to see the crowning first hand, it will be a great moment in Galaxy history. Re: .:Galaxy vs. KC Pre-game thread:. i honestly don't think steve will f with the lineup that much from last week. when was the last time herzog played longer than 25 minutes, much less started? i must say, as much as i want him on the field, i don't see where he fits in steve's lineup. he's just too one-dimensional to play in the center of the midfield, as our style demands center mids that track back on d to cover for the wingbacks that push up. i think sampson mentioned vegenas and saragosa doing this well in our last game.

Alrighty...here's my prediction... -I forsee everybody giving 110%, including Carlos -G's score first, luckily, when Kiro gets taken down in the box on the stroke of halftime. Ruiz burries it...no HDC-Oshoniyi repeat... -Wolff puts them ahead at the 72nd minute after we ONCE AGAIN fail to clear the ball. -The G's defense turns to mush, but after the Pissards hitting the post a couple of times, we survive for extratime. -The Wiz dominate the first period of extratime, but we get a rare set piece and Tyrone heads it in (yes, again) and the G's pick up a 2-1 victory and everyone goes crazy. Douche Hamilton can get some shut eye and thanks the soccer gods for this...

Prediction Well I would like to be with you in all this enthusiasm. But.... I cant forsee the Gals pulling this one out. Basically I see it will be around 48 degrees at game time.... cold weather is like cryptonite to latin & caribbean players. you guess who will not benefit from this observation. plus K.C. is playing some really tight ball right now... they would have to absolutely crash for the Gals to win, and that kind of luck doesn't follow bad shnucks like steve sampson. I see K.C. 2-0 going thru to play on our turf for the Cup.
