Wait, doesn't the USMNT play Mexico the same day? Granted it'll be shown at 5:30 PM our time, but imagine the scramble for the few fans who will want to watch the both matches. Hopefully Stadium Club will be open for the US-MEX match. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone, ya know?

Sounds like some pretty lousy planning, but what can you do? We'll have to see how the timing works out.

Anyone know of another confirming source for this match? Not that it would surprise me. As those of us in the LA area know, there is a very large Iranian-American community here. The Shed should have no problem selling out, but the timing sure would be bad for Galaxy fans who are also USNT or Mexico fans.

    The. . .Rose Bowl?

    *banging head on desk*

No, it's fine, I guess. Sigh. Hopefully the Galaxy will get mad coin for this. 50% of sales?

IIRC, the last USA vs. Iran match was close to 50 or 60K.
