With Lando and Becks gone and the way Pavon wheezes in front of the net I don't see us scoring too many goals here. However, I'm positive the players are ashamed of the RSL scoreline and are gonna play with some fire to shut up the boo birds. Should be an interesting one that could go either way really.

Landon and Pavon gone for international duty according to what I read. Roberts serving his one-game suspension. Becks, Albright, Gray and Jazic out injured. Cannon, Kirk, Veris and Cobi all dinged up.

Once again a pretty thin lineup...

I think the Galaxy win just to mess with our heads.

Fire...did you say fire??? Maaaan..you are funnnnnny.

We've been saying that for 3 years now.

I have never given up on this team until seeing the lack of everything last week's second half. The only way it is going to go is bad and worse.

We're going to come out and somehow win this game. The team has not given up on this season. The tide has to turn, we have to get a lucky bounce at some point, something has to eventually go our way.

Our amazing quest to the MLS Cup final begins this weekend.

X - do NOT, under any circumstance, allow Herculez to score. I'm counting on you.

I notice Pablo Mastroeni has been released from his National Team duty due to failure to recover from an illness.

Wonder if he recovers in time for Saturday? If so, he'll probably get in a fight with Harmse, and Harmse will be red-carded out.

So, technically we are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, right? This could be the turning point!

    Drink!!

We need a win. I don't care who plays, I don't care if the ball rolls into the net of their keepers head caused by a freak wind, but we need a win dammit. Unfortunately I'll have to give this one a miss, as Leeds are at home to Hartlepool United so I hope that both teams win, unfortunately Galaxy have not won a game this season when Leeds have won, so it isn't Yallop and Lalas's fault its my jinx, but here's hoping. If this curse continues, it will be a long time before Galaxy win:p

    COME ON GALAXY!!!

    LOL. I'm back to normal.

We laid down and died for Colorado the last time we played, and I'd hate to see a rerun. But this time we're at home, and not gasping in the altitude, so I expect better results.

Not fair that Mastroeni will probably play for the Rapids now.

Equipment sale at the tennis stadium from 6pm through halftime!

Face it gang, the odds of getting a playoff spot are miniscule.

I'm saying a prayer that the G's lose so the odds of Lalas being fired go up. The 2-for-1 trades royally effed us.

I have a new goal of making TequilaJoel look like a f*****g optimist.

To that end, we'll only lose by 2 goals.

I got tix! Their is that somber shadow of defeat looming, but I'm hoping for a 5-1 score in our favor. Hopefully some of our outcry will be heard and that might spark the recovery of our season. Most teams would be looking at relegation, but since that doesn't exist in MLS, we still have a chance for the championship, strange as it seems right now.

    I agree, DRINK

I don't believe the Galaxy will ever win again this season. Colorado wins 2-0 with goals from Gomez and Vagenas.

Is everybody really hurt or do they just not want to play

This is ridiculous. To have a roster that thin

Anybody want to take a stab at the lineup

I thought that Pavon was not available. What a sad line-up.

I think Pavon is out for internationals. Lando is out. Any chance we see Sesay on the bench at least?

    Its funny.

How many are hoping for a run of loses to either:

To get a top draft pick (which Im not sure that hasn't been traded away)

    To get Aleix Lalas fired

    To get Frank Yallop fired

To completely stick it to AEG for there scandalous becksploitation.

To hopefully have the fewest wins (3).

    Edging out

Tampa Bay Mutiny (4) wins outta 27 games in 2001.

Chivas USA (4) wins outta 32 games in 2005.

This is what I am personally hoping for.

Of course the G's will probably f**k this up too, and win 2 or 3 games and ruin a chance to get a record.

This is just what I envisioned when they announced that Los Angeles Galaxy signed David Beckham.

It took a superstar, a great coach, and the best in GM in MLS to get us this wonderful and the most well deserved achievement in sports.

For us to make the playoffs, we need to win every game from here on out and hope some key teams keep losing... Damn, when does next season start?
