Has there been any announcement on how season ticket sales are going? I keep getting stuff in the mail but no reports on the numbers so far. I'm looking forward to a packed house for every match, but I've got no numbers so far...anybody?
Spoke to ticket office yesterday and they said season sales are running around 4800 at this point. 5 & 10 game packs should be out fairly soon.
They told me (last Friday) that 10 game plans would be out this week and 5 game plans in another 3 weeks (much to my chagrin). Maybe they've pushed back the timetable again. The guy also told me they were 3 times ahead of last year's "pace" and two times ahead in total sales (or something like that).
Flashman - if that's accurate, revenue has gone up geometrically, as the price per seat is much more at Victoria than RB.
Just got an e-mail from the Galaxy saying the 10-game plans are now on sale. They, of course, include opening day and July 4th, and you'll see every MLS team (NE twice).
spoke with a guy at the ticketoffice. He said they expect the equivolent of 10k season ticket and 10 game packs to be sold. That's half the stadium for half the games. not too shabby if it happens.
