Well sort of. Was watching Dateline and they were arresting sexual predators. And one of the cops was wearing a Galaxy Hoodie. Lots of nice close ups of the Hoodie. Haha. Good publicity? Must say I love seeing MLS stuff asppear on TV randomly. Its like wheres waldo?
Also of note, on that show, the filming was done like 10 minutes from my house. I only watched to see about the teacher(heared about it from the paper)
I was watching this in a bar (with closed captioning) when I saw the LAG hoodie. I was hoping it was one of the offenders, but it was a female law enforcement type. Oh well. On the bright side, it's only a matter of time before a Galaxy fan gets caught in one of these sting operations. On a serious note, that piece was frightening!
On a weird MLS-related-seen-on-TV note... I watched a bit of the "Flight 93" movie the other night. The scene was at the home of one of the passenger's wives. She was on the phone to her husband on the plane. In the background, I kid you not, one of their kids was playing with what looked like the Puma MLS ball.
I Tivo'd it since I wanted to see what's going on here in the IE so now I'll have to keep my eye out for it.
Yeah, I noticed that as well when watching it this afternoon. That movie was very, very good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. And while we're at it, I was watching the NHL today (it was pretty good, actually) and they compared penalty kicks to shootouts and used the MLS logo! It was sweet!
Clear out a 120x80 area in the middle of the Daytona infield. Have a Galaxy exhibition match during the Daytona 500 (around lap 200 or so). Simultaneous sports: the wave of the future!
watched it last night on MSNBC, saw the hoodie real quick and thought OH NO! A GALXY FAN IS A SICK F . Thank God it turned out she was arrested them all. They got a real good pic of it later in the show. Scary show though.
They're showing the rerun on MSNBC right now, at least in my time zone... just saw the Galaxy hoodie. This is seriously revolting, especially the teacher guy.
At least he semi-admitted he was doing something wrong! Some of them acted like banging 12 yr olds was normal.
You could find some people in the politics board that don't come too far from saying that. And many that say a 30 year old woman and a 12 year old boy is perfectly okay.
