Was on ticketmaster earlier looking to buy my tickets for Victoria St..and came across tickets for the G's vs Milwaukee TODAY. 1 day after the Burn match... che?? then i looked around a bit and saw this http://www.jsonline.com/sports/socc/may03/141541.asp nothing on the G's site on this...anyone with better info? If true...MLS needs to get their heads out of their rectums...you dont go scheduling your team to play an expansion A-League team less than 24 hours and a few thousand miles after playing at Dragon Stadium...
uggh Yes indeed this match was played... and... THe MLS Champion, Los Angeles Galaxy lost to an Expansion A-League team, playing their second ever match 1-0. Will we EVER F***** win a match?
I'm not surprised with the result considering the lineup and it was only an exhibition but really, why play back-to-back matches like that? If it was played midweek, I'd have no problem with that. I remember the G's playing an exhibition match against the San Diego Gauchos during the G's slump, possibly as a wake-up call. Perhaps the G's should schedule another one of these matches, say against the Blue Star or Gauchos.
I believe this game was played because of us signing backup GK Popik who played for the Milwaukee Rampage last year.
what was the line-up? Chacon, Albright, please, these guys suck! Glinton should be paired with Ruiz, what a tandem they would make. Chacon! What a waste of space!
