this is what i presently have for the galaxy, it's part of a directory i've created to help myself and gpk with the morning news i hope that some of you might occassionally use it to contact a news source in addition, i also hope that you might point me in the direction of new sources and correct any errors i might have made thanks, -jim
isn't there another dude... jim herron (or something like that)... that also helps out? jones is still the main writer, but i do need to add the other guys... thanks
Jim Barrero??? to the best of my knowledge, I've only read a report from him once....on last Saturday's match.
I subscribe to OC Register and am not aware if there even is a beat writer for the G's. There was a columnist by the name of Scott Reid who covered soccer in general but am not sure if he's there anymore.
Unless you are purposely avoiding the Internet... You've left off the best Galaxy coverage of all which is Llew Llewellyn's weekly column at cybersoccernews.com. I can learn more at a single reading on Friday than I can all week on the local paper - I get the Daily News which carries Robledo, the #2 IMO. I've looked at the other writers on the site, when I'm checking out the opposition that weekend, and IMHO the standard of coverage is very high. Linda Next year in the Premier!
i'm purposefully avoiding non-mainstream media sources maybe at some point i'll start adding in some great sources like 3rdegree, emerald city gazette, cybersoccernews and bergin's site... but for now, they don't fit with what i'm doing i'm going hardcore for what a casual fan might come across or even a soccer hater... us hardcores aren't exactly mainstream -jim
There is a guy named Joe Curley who writes a column each Monday for the Ventura County Star. He covers mostly world happenings and occasionally an article about the Galaxy.
i have him listed in the non-mls cities category... i haven't seen anything out of it's way for the galaxy, so i haven't added him to the galaxy list i's suggest people sending some emails to him and his editor if you want him to provide more coverage of the galaxy
