The hostility is beyond me. Let’s see: 1) It is the MLS off season, so the discussions tend to be a bit soccer ancillary at times, but this is a soccer board where anything regarding soccer is discussed. 2) We need all the publicity/promotion we can get, so the fact that one Survivor player is a Galaxy fan and another takes a soccer ball with her is a good thing. 3) Nothing in these boards should be taken quite so seriously. Yes, I think the thread qualifies as a legitimate topic.

Yar, yar - it's a good thing to have a Galaxy fan - I just hope he's a decent representative. And chill on the Ravens criticism - first of all, L.A. doesn't have an NFL team right now, and this dude, like many SoCalites, relocated. He's originally from MD, so a little love for home is ok. Besides, he listed the Galaxy first - that's what's really important.
