jut noticed they aernt made by nike. usually the shirts are made by the company that makes the team's kits. i remember last year's was made by nike for SJ. the Galaxy's are made by JA just something i noticed
Nice Looking shirts. Not quite as gaudy as the usual championship shirts we see in any sport. Where will the Revolution 2002 Championship jerseys end up?
interesting. i just read on another board that someone else feels that they are too "generic" but the thing that surprises me is that Nike didnt make them. its as if they didnt want to take the gamble in case we lost.
I remember an article where the author went to central africa and saw a bunch of kids wearing "Buffalo Bills Super Bowl Champion" t-shirts. I think the short answer is, most of them are given to international charities to distribute. Tony
I remember that too for some reason. I think it would be funny if they distributed them to homeless folks in DC and NY. Just to rub it in. And to be funny at the same time. Plus, homeless people needs shirts, right. Its win - win.
Shouldn't the shirt maker wait until (if they should win) the Galaxy win the U.S. Open Cup? That way they could have BOTH the MLS Cup and U.S. Open Cup championships on their shirts. Supporters Shield could also be there too.
Maybe they should make "the Burn have never made it that far" t-shirts and distribute them to the homeless all over Dallas. That would be funny
Best thing. I ordered mine on Monday. They are still on backorder. Looks like I won't have mine for Saturday.
That line reminds me of the Seinfeld episode involving the "muffin tops" --------- The revolution attempts to give the t-shirts to a charity... Charities response: What...They don't have homes, they don't have jobs, what do they need the actual "championship" shirt for? Do you think that they should feel lucky to get the ,"cast-off" shirts. BS's response: If the homeless don't like them the homeless don't have to wear them.
Dallas homeless folks have too much integrity and civic pride for that. Plus it will never fly. They only need shirts for the 2 cold months out of the year. The rest of the year, the urban trenchcoat works fine as a stand alone.
