Joe Gomez is as effective as a traffic cone. Matches like this I'm reminded why he's never played as a CB for us - he's so positionally and situationally inept.
I'm clutching at straws here to find something positive to take from this game. Only thing I can come up with is its still just half time in the tie , we're only down by one and still to play at Anfield. I've got nothing else.
Had two big chances, one of which should have been finished. Felt like were running in water compared to them. Pretty standard performance for us at this point, which is sad. Still expect us to get through with a win at home.
