    Hello Everybody:

After an 18 month hiatus the "G" man is back.
SueB, I'm happy to see you are still here to illuminate this board and I can see you're still the
voice of reason. Unfortunately I've been on the
road a lot and lost touch with these boards.

Jawz, if you're still around, have you recovered fom the two back-to-back defeats in the fantasy leagues?? Do you hear Lazio's footsteps??

To those that know me, No and No, I'm not here to
crow about the best team in Europe, Lazio.
It's just a concidence that they are currently playing well for no pay at all.

    Cheers

Welcome back. Not surprising that a prodigal Lazio fan has returned during their latest spell of good lucks. As an aside ... I wonder where all the Roma fans are! ;) Now all we need is for togneter to return from the land of Sim hell. And who knows whatever happened to live4lazio?

Welcome back G man :) The more the merrier. I've nothing to say about those fantasy leagues, but Milan don't have to worry about anyone, least not Lazio.

    !!!Forza Milan!!!

I believe that Milan was extremely lucky in their
first encounter with Lazio. Next time it won't be so.
The 1-1 result from that game does not reflect the
    way Lazio dominated.

I saw the game and Lazio definately had the run of play, but Milan were not beaten. Things have been sorted out since that game and I believe Milan has something for both Lazio and Juventus come the ritorno. That something being a swift kick in the pants.

Yes, Ancelotti's Milan will try and give the Lazio/Juve a swift kick in the pants. What Milan doesn't know is that Cragnotti has spent all
of his money (that's why Lazio is broke) on a steel
reinforced soccer short. Hopefully all the Milan
players will kick at the same time ad bust up their ankles.

    Cheers

G-man! Welcome back. We missed you!

Sue, I am still here. I was devoting myself to that school thing, working on my degree, and I got slammed at work, so I've just been busy. But it's so nice to know I was missed. (sniff, sniff). The emotion is getting to me....

Anywho. The starving bohemians in Rome are playing pretty well without a paycheck, a Nesta, or a Crespo. What they do have is a Mancini. And a boatload of fresh ideas there. (I always knew he was a god!) I mean who knows this club better than he does?

Of course the Cragnotti and Cirio saga off the field is interesting. I do hope that they don't allow this proud, ancient club go the way of Fiorentina. Hope they get that sorted out soon. I'd even take Murdoch as the owner. If Anschutz didn't have problems, I'd even think it would be great to have him buy the club.

Lazio may not always be pretty, but at the end of the day they get it done. And besides, the Milanese can't have it all, somebody's got to challenge them. And the way I see it, Lazio has 100 years of mediocrity to make up for.

    Forza Lazio!
    Viva la serie A!

    100 Years of mediocrity???

How soon do we forget that Lazio has been riding
high in the standings for the last 6-7 years.

The turning point for this team will be the new
ownership. Cragnotti may be a madman, but he has
had a clear and and ambitious vision for this team.

On their way to winnig the Scudetto, I hope that Lazio attracts a buyer like Cragnotti. Live4lazio,
how much $$$ you got??? The price is $365M.
I can spare about $12k. Anyone else want in??

    Sue???
    Jawz??

    Im in for $5K :D

Anyway, its seems we should be getting some help from the banks. They promised a loan of 30 million pounds if Cragnotti resigns. And Cragnotti is resigning on January the 3rd.

Even so, none of the players want to leave Lazio. Peruzzi who has sued the club said in an interview that he wants to stay and win with Lazio regardless of the circumstances. Now Stankovic is stepping up and saying he wont be going anywhere and he wants to stay with Lazio. Just look at the greatness of this team and its players. 6 months without pay and they are still having AC and Juve on their knees.

    FORZA AQUILA!!! :D

    LAZIO PER SEMPRE!!!

Yes. The banks will only refinance $80M (so the
players can get their arrears) only if Sergio Cragnotti and his family (son & daughter) step aside. I suppose he has lost his credibilty because
he has mixed Cirio/Del Monte business with team
finances (Similar to what Fiorentina's Cecchi Gori did).
I hope and pray the the new ownership picks up where Cragnotti let off and continue to lead the team to lofty targets (Champions League).
