I've seen this a couple of times on television and I think it's quite entertaining. Anybody enjoy this sport?

I'm hoping there won't be any hurling tonight at the New Year's Eve party I'm going to.

We get both hurling and gaelic football on one of the pbs channels here. They are both fun to watch. Who are the top teams in each?

Armagh are the current All-Ireland Football champions. Kilkenny are the Hurling champions.

Armagh were surprise winners, this being their only championship success. They beat Kerry in the final who have a great history of winning the championship. Kerry have the most championship wins, followed by Dublin, Galway, Meath and Cork.

In Hurling, Kilkenny are one of the powerhouses of the game. Cork have the most Hurling championship wins, followed by Kilkenny, Tipperary and Limerick.
