Of the 18 clubs in the so called G14, only lowly Porto has made it to the CL semi-finals. While it would be impossible to claim a UEFA bias towards non G14 clubs, surely someone (and more than likely a lot of someones) are smiling big smiles at UEFA right now. Well, the G14 can solve their problems by adding 4 new clubs next year: Chelsea, Depor, Monaco and Millwall. The Big Ten is 11 teams, so the G14 can be 22 clubs. As Master Shake might say, "It makes sense on account of their actions."

I don't think you have any moral high ground when it comes to being a little bitty baby. As in, it's also thanx to the G14 that 4 teams from the big countries now compete in the Champion's League. With the looming creation of a breakaway super league by teams included in the G14 way back then directly leading to the CL now being played with 32 teams. Maybe you should take less time looking for past world club for clubs which Madrid attended (like that would change anything? seriously, what was your point?) and more looking at things like this.

The G-14 membership is based on the size of the brand that each member brings to the table globally and in their domestic arena. Last season the knock-out stages of the Champions League were the G-14 show. Both UEFA Cup finalists were also G-14 members. This season, they were not. Boo-hoo-hoo. You guys need to get over this whole G-14 thing. They don't care about you, why do you care about them?
Because they are messing with OUR sport... I think its quite easy to understand. If it wasn't for US fans, do you think G-14 would even exist? Lets see.. imagine Liverpool playing in front of an empty stadium... So therefore, lets re-examine your comment "They don't care about you (the fan)": seems pretty risky for them to have that attitude towards the fans wouldn't you agree?
In what way are they doing this? I don't necessarily disagree, BTW, I would just be interested in hearing you expound further on this point. Why imagine that? It has no bearing on this issue and no grounding in reality. Well, that's of course not what I said. The G-14 care about fans in the same way any conglomerate cares about it's consumers. That is the unfortunate reality. I don't like what they are or what they represent any more than you do, but that's not enough to induce the sort of purile (and totally illogical) glee that gave birth to this thread and every one like it.
