I thought he was really anonymous in the first half - much more involved in the second. I think it's unacceptable for the midfielder just behind the striker to be anonymous and not involved in the team's attack. Ever.
He started real strong IIRC. Was terrorizing our FBs then faded towards the end of half one. Came back strong in second half. How much would he go for? If Theo leaves and say we get 10 million for him, another 4-5 would surely be a competitive bid.
Leave in to AW to squeeze a few million out of some desperate sucker. It is clear he won't sign and if that is the case then we need to get some spare change for him.
Apparently not. From here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/jul/17/arsenal-theo-walcott-contract
The emergence of Shelvey killed the need for Sahin in Liverpool, since Sahin is a loan signing that wouldn't stay beyond a year. Now that Shelvey got a red card we'll probably be seeing starts from Sahin and that'll give us a better idea what he can provide. But yeah Rodges might be stupid enough to start Henderson over Sahin.
Rogers has a serious hard-on for Shelvey. Did you see his adulation of Shelvey in Being Liverpool part II?
You really need to see more of Sahin? He'll probably do great against Aston and we shall have more highlight reels and buckets of drool.
Liverpool have signed a few head scratchers and some players that are technically good but not physically up to it. They may very well turn it around but a top 10 finish is unlikely. At least the softies we signed (Nasri, Reyes, Arshavin) could score every few games or so.
I heard that Demba Ba still has a 7M release clause in his contract if one of the big clubs comes calling. He would be great for us. If Giroud doesnt cut it until January then we should get Ba.
It's absolutely absurd that there is another ACN this year. And that FIFA continues to allow a tournament to take place during the club season. And Platini's dumbass saying again that the '22 World Cup should be held in winter. I guess those outdoor air conditioners aren't coming along very well.
