New York and LA are no longer as important as they'd like to believe they are. I seem to recall a certain soccer game between United and Real Madrid in Seattle... that's not LA or NY is it? Who averages more fans per game? RBNY or United? You can blame a crappy field product, but the fact is United's highest average attendance came in losing seasons.
