Does anone know about the next Confed Cup in 2005? Have FIFA made any announcements or will it be known in 2004?
Every 4 years is a good idea. the tournament should be a warmup for the World Cup Finals so it at least has one real purpose.
Why does the Confed Cup seem to be following or leading the WC around? France, Japan, Germany? Um...maybe some other countries that HAVEN'T hosted the WC in the last 7 years would be nice for the rest of the world....

It's just as well UEFA don't do the same thing with the European Championship, or the teams would be playing on five building sites in Portugal,
So the next Confed cup will be in Germany in 2005? That means 2 in a row will be in UEFA. That isn't fair but i understand Germany's hosting to test the WC facilities. German's are fantastic in organising such and event, I don't see that there will be any problems come 2005-2006. So does that mean the 2007 confed cup will be in Africa as they are bidding for the WC?
