Yeah, my better half just called. I don't have to watch the last 10 minutes. I hope I miss a "Might" Tom Barlow hat trick to win the match.
Nice hustle by Guti leads to a shot by Acosta that was closer than I expected. I’ve always liked the way Guti goes after 50/50 balls and ones near the touch lines - one of the first things I noticed about him when was getting sparse minutes his first year with the club.
I take back my comments about Dean, but not Barlow EDIT: but I’ll un-take it back once I see the Reddit dorks and Twitter nerds fetishizing him even more than usual.
To be perfectly honest I entirely FORGOT there was a game because after I posted the news had to work for a couple of hours and came home and had some graphic design stuff to do then was worried about creating dinner and then wifey and I watched a movie then about 8:30pm I realzed "Oh...it's actually Saturday! There's a game!" and turned it on late so I didn't want to hop on here and get spoilers since I was an hour behind. It was pretty uninspiring to be honest. On the one hand the Fire are eliminated from playoff contention. On the other hand a draw means they mathematically cannot win the wooden spoon. Not sure how I feel about that?
Her inability to get along with other dogs and my law & order stance do not mix well. People do not like me "asking" they not approach us on the sidewalk and "please" walk their dogs the opposite way until we leave the area. In a just world, when she gets challenged by some yappy little dust mop of a dog I should let her go to settle the issue. However, society compels us to act civilized toward one another as best we can. More of an answer than you signed up for.
I have a friend that twice in one week while walking his dog, two different people from two different cars screamed “dog ********er” at him. Just weird.
Is being called a "dog ****er" worse than being called a "dog (and cat) eater," though? Just ask the unfortunate Haitian residents of Springfield, Ohio. A society destroyed by a racist lie and decades old trope to marginalize already marginalized people. But, but this election is, once again, about "economic anxiety."
Every day of the week. I may not have the translation correct, but in the day we used this line, usually while watching the White Sox. Okay, some things haven't changed much with the passage of time. Ißt Scheiße und stirb, Schweinfucher!
Politicians of every stripe regularly use anxiety to stoke fear and convince people to vote for them. The media is always happy to indulge them.
