Karl Rove's terrible little secret....

A White House source who declined to be identified because it did not serve his purposes -- Lewis Libby, Dick Cheney's Chief of Staff -- leaked to reporters today that Karl Rove was entirely dependent on columnist Bob Novak for confidential government information. For instance, Libby said, Rove did not leak Valerie Plame's name and occupation to Robert Novak; Novak leaked it to him.

"I understand that it is rare for a a government official at the highest levels of the federal government, in the White House, virtually sitting in the President's lap, to be entirely dependent on a reporter for top-secret, highly confidential government information, but that's the case here," said Libby anonymously.

Libby asked to be known to the public only by the nickname "Hand Job," in the tradition of other famous government leakers.

"Sadly, despite Rove's powerful influence in the White House, his top-secret clearance, and his intimate association with the heads of the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, DIA, DNA and DDT, he knew nothing about anything until Bob Novak clued him on it," said Libby. "This is Karl's terrible little secret."

Even assuming this is true, who told Novak?

George W. Bush and I agree that someone is betraying government secrets, and has to be removed from office immediately. I wonder why it's hard for Fox News to understand that. Maybe they hate America.

Maybe they hate America. Or maybe it is just that different people have different opinons about things and not every newscaster is going to agree with Dan Looney, and yet we all may still love our country and we have no choice but to coexist in this world together.

My advice is, watch soccer, drink beer, chase women, and stop worrying about news programs which see the world differently than you do, and you will live happily ever after.

Come on, be serious. Karl Rove may not look exactly like prince charming, to say the least, but what are the odds of a guy who has so much power not getting laid. If a guy like that doesn't get laid, what would that leave for the rest of us powerless citizens?

Rove (claims he) learned about Plame from Novak. Who knows what the truth is at this point? They're all a bunch of **************s.

BTW, I have a bone to pick with some of you. I asked an honest question, wether it was a crime to give the name of a CIA operative and people here were saying yes, but now everybody on TV, even the democrats, are saying no. Not unless they are working secretly outside the country or have been in working outside the country in the past five years, something like that. Which apparently doesn't apply to this case. I guess I shouldn't come with my questions to Bigsoccer if I want the right answer.

(I do think it should be against the law though)

They obviously misquoted him, because if you put Valerie Plame's name instead of Karl Rove's, the quote fits perfectly (gender agreement notwithstanding), but as it reads now, it makes Dick Morris look like a moronic douchebag.
