"Undercover Among America's Theocrats," in the March Harpers, by Jeffrey Sharlet, exposes a Christian fundamentalist movement - The Family - which, instead of trying to get a hold of the downtrodden, or even the middle-class, is pursuing, and landing, American and world leaders.

"The Family" is moving actively to create a global theocracy...fundamentalism is bad, regardless of the source...

The article is not available online; it is a must-read. The specificity of it all, in terms of naming the MULTITUDE of US Representatives (current, and, as in the case of former Attorney General Ed Meese, retired from service) who are members of this group, is absolutely frightenting.

My workplace gets upset if I listen to people elucidating on company time.

This thing has "crazy conspiracy theory" written all over it. I really don't get the threat at all.
