I'm in for the 5000! I remember seeing him for the Metrostars? or Red Bulls, things are foggier than ever. He struck me because of his calmness on the ball as he moved forward and then sent a cross field ball to whomever right on a dime. I knew he was a cut above. Love to have him back home.
I'll be all around in the forum - I'll be everywhere. Wherever you can look - wherever there's a thread, so YA fans can post, I'll be there.
While it has been over a decade since he last played in the league, he still has the greatest defensive play I have ever seen in MLS history. I'm looking forward to seeing him back here ( may have posted it before, but I figured I'd help in the push for 5K) Tim Ream returning to the states isn’t surprising. But landing in Charlotte FC would be - they’ve conceded just 18 goals in 17 games. Legend. Tim Ream’s Fulham teammates wishing him the best of luck as he moves to Charlotte FC in MLS 🥹❤️ pic.twitter.com/F5djmihggq— USMNT Only (@usmntonly) August 7, 2024
Definitely fun. I wonder if we'll see Tim coaching in the near future. He seems like someone who worked hard enough himself that he might be able to explain how he wants things done (as opposed to insanely talented players who just intuit the game and can't / don't know how to explain their vision to others). #tentogo
about 4-5 years ago, Tim was starting with his coaching licenses. Then about 2 months before Qatar, I asked how it was going with coaching licenses. He said he wasn’t interested in coaching anymore.
That had me choked up a little bit. Now someone should do a video with all the kids that he's helped out over his time there and let them say their goodbyes.
Well that's a disappointment. Count me among the many that think he'd make a great coach. Any idea what he might want to do after he retires in a few years?
Lovely tribute. Maybe the coaching flame will reignite. I'm sure he will stay involved in the game in some capacity.
Tim is an absolute legend and class through and through. Dude definitely visited some lows and left Europe on high. I'm glad he'll get a final MLS payday and sail off into the sunset
I can remember a lot of these videos being released by clubs down the years. What I can't remember is videos without highlight reel moments from games, just the squad giving their "thank yous". Nor can I remember videos with so much warmth and affection from team mates. Obviously a gem in any dressing room
Thanks for the info! Same. I just feel like he'd make a great coach. ...and perhaps a year of retirement will make him reconsider... (...TimB4... a quick double-post gets you #5000)
Naah. No need. With this video out there, any other video would be redundant (starts at 5.00)* * Still do them anyway
