Ream was involved in the goal they conceded today, sadly. I would put it down as goal keeping error for failing to come to claim the ball as Ream shielded it, but he bears some of the blame. https://www.espn.com/soccer/match/_/gameId/606757

Just watched the replay. Huge assist to the Forest manager. GB should study (and learn) - I don’t think behind the back would have gotten the job done. The assisting pass was also quite nice.

The Fulham GK could have done much better, but Ream also picked the wrong moment for a long-term shield - the ball was rolling to the toward the goal and he didn’t have the right angle for a full shield.

Ream went the distance as Fulham lost 4-0 to Sheffield United on the final match day.

However, Fulham had already become champions of the Championship with their 7-0 win on Monday.

Option exercised. Bonus points for the use of "triggered."

Haha, good for him. Fulham know they have a solid bench guy who will provide leadership even if not playing for long stretches.

There is also a Tim Ream song!

Congrats to Ream, faithful servant to the club, but also instrumental in each bounce back to the Prem. It may not be his level, but he can sure captain them back up when they yo yo back down.

Dude completely deserves at least one victory lap. Good for him and Fulham.

You'd almost have to say Ream is 'in form' (still). As far as that term is used to evaluate who gets called in.

Not sure why Tim has been left off…maybe because it has been difficult for both he and Brooks to cover when the backs get up the field.

Something's up because he's got more to provide the US than EPB or CCV as far as I'm concerned.

That’s it. Neither do well with a high line that presses as the CB is going to be pulled wide at some point.

Not sure this is the right place to sort this out, but since we have all summer, I guess we can try - until the mods slam the door shut …

I agree (with comments above suggesting) that Brooks is a useful reference point, though everyone focused on Brooks’ presumed exclusion and generally ignored Ream’s dropping (after the first window iirc).

He also just played nearly (?) every minute of a notoriously grueling Championship campaign and is essentially a grandfather compared to the ages of the other guys. Some R&R would certainly do him good.

You'd think an excellent left-footed passer who can slide into d-mid in a punch would be attractive...

Played in all 46 league matches racking up over 4000 minutes while serving as captain for most matches. Sounds like he did his part helping Fulham achieve promotion.
