10 years abroad. More time abroad than Dempsey, Bradley, Altidore to name but a few. I believe Cherundolo spent 14 years abroad (has to be the most for a Yank Abroad).

I believe Cherundolo has the record for the most USMNT caps during the MLS era without playing in the league.

(C)Ream and Jedi went 90, it appears in a 5-1 route. Swansee went to 10 at 41' and all the scoring happened in the second half.

Wilson with 2 assts, Neco Williams with two late goals. No mention of our boys in the tracker I checked. Fulham now 14 pts. up on B'mouth and Hudd, though the former has played 2 less games.

Solid pro. EPL was just a bridge too far for him. Shame.

No shame in being the 21st best team in England. And btw, they all went down. No-one got picked up and stayed in the EPL. If anything, they picked up. players that went down with them.

If Fulham has learned anything Tim will be a guy they have to replace come next year. No shame in it, great career, but he is a detriment in the EPL. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Tim come back to MLS after next year, and then maybe head back to Fulham after his career in some capacity. He is highly respected there from what I understand.

Picked up a nasty head injury in extra time. Finished the match, but with a big head wrap.

    Ended 1-1.

Fulham @ West Brom today at 4:00* PM (eastern). Last Fulham match before the international break, as their scheduled opponent for this weekend - Nottingham Forest - have a conflicting FA Cup date v Liverpool (on Sunday).

    ++++++++++++

    * Has anyone else noticed that every year England waits until we change our time and then makes all their games an hour later? Infuriating!

Not sure why, but I thought of this:

Anyone have word whether Dike is fit enough for the bench yet?

By the way, I have to hand it to Ream, he's such a rock at the back for them this season. You wonder if Fulham goes up, if they give him the Udonis Haslem treatment and keep him on the books nominally for a year to reward his effort in the promotion. They know he's not EPL caliber, but he's been indispensable to their effort to get back up.

Two errors for the score. Brutal.

    1. bad pass
    2. slide block that missed the ball by a fraction of a second.

Tough series of play by Robinson

Would be a good signing for St. Louis for their inaugural season given that's where he's from. Or Fulham can do him a solid and loan him there so they can call him back in case they go down again. Though being 34, I can't imagine he's got a lot of seasons left in him.

Amazingly, he won 8 aerial duels in this game, including some key ones late while the team was under pressure. This is notable because it is DOUBLE the number of aerials he has won in any of the previous 38 appearances before this match, where his high was 4 aerials achieved four times this season. (He averages 2.3 aerial duels won per 90 minutes this season). Tim lifted the weakest part of his game in a big way for this match. He also had a couple crucial shot blocks.
