I wish I could have come to see this, but man I just got home from Cleveland, and there's no frickin way I'm driving down there. Wish I would have known about this a few days before this.
That was a terrible game. McBride didn't get any service but he didn't do anything when he was on the ball either. Fulham looked really poor.
I actually thought he had a decent game except for the fact that he barely got the ball. Every time he passed it to Boa Morte or Haynes and made a run, the ball would go away from him. He earned a few corners and I do recall him making an awful pass from the right side late in the match. But even the commentator said something like, "McBride has been fighting for scraps all day long". Just like the old days with the Crew.
Boca the Lundger had more offense than McBride... A real snoozer after the 10 minute mark, I actually got up off the couch to help with housework.
That's true with Boca. However, the Cottagers' midfield play reminded me of a many Crew matches - just plain sad.
