Right now the League Cup dont mean anything. All that matters right now is the league and the next league match is Norwich.Fulham need to win this match. There is another match against Scum on Tuesday but, thats not all that important compared to the next league match.

This match is vital. Unfortunately, Norwich is coming in with a little confidence. They got their first win a week and a half ago and they got a fraw this past weekend. Fulham could have their hands full if they continue to play the way they have been.

I say we win 2-1 in a very close match Mcbride and Malbranque with the goals. This could be a turning point for Fulham. If they win this and they use a 4-4-2 then Coleman may stick with that formation which will help our team.We have 3 very very tough matches after this so 3 points here is huge.We need to build off that great match against Scum.

Fulham should be able to beat Norwich handily. Will Van der Saar remain in goal?

Norwich is a pretty decent side at home. They have the most draws of any team in the EPL. Fulham has the least amount of draws. As for the keeper situation, Van Der Sar will likely be in goal is Crossley is still hurting with the injury he sustained against Blackburn last weekend.

I was reading one of those interviews with cookie and he mentioned that fact that Fulham does not draw. It seems like this team has a light switch, they're either on or off, never in the middle. Hopefully they can gain some momentum from the good showing against chelsea and go on a 4 or 5 game unbeaten run.

What is the status of Boa Morte, is he still out with injury.

I think he is going to play, but I cannot guarantee it. I have heard he will, but I have no evidence as far as links to back up my statement.

    Interesting Cookie quotes...

"Perhaps I got the tactics wrong against Blackburn - I've got to take responsibility for that. But we picked a different team and a different team shape against Chelsea, and we played really well."

Could it be we'll see the 4-4-2 again on Saturday? If so, will McBride maintain his spot in the Starting XI? Here's hoping...

"Collins John is another Reserve game away - he played ninety minutes for the Reserves in the week and did very well, but he needs one more outing before we would call on him."

Where would John fit in the 4-4-2, especially if McBride keeps his spot? Does he fit well as an attacking outside midfielder?

"We've got a few players on their way back now. Jensen, Bonnissel, who's been out long term but is close now, Boa, Collins John, they're all coming back - we'll have a better squad of players to choose from."

Cookie is going to have a wealth of talent to choose from here in a couple of weeks. That's exciting from the standpoint that FFC have been playing as a "hurt" team the last few weeks and holding up well (save for the Blackburn match). The question is, who gets sat on the bench when they all come back?

Things are getting very exciting around the Cottage. After the letdown on Saturday, it seems that even a loss to Chelsea was enough to fire up some optimism for Saturday against Norwich.

    Dream Prediction: 2-1 Fulham
    Reality-Based Prediction: 1-1 Draw

I do really think we will see the 4-4-2 again on Saturday. It is not just the lot of us here on the message board, it seems as though Fulham fans everywhere are calling for the 4-4-2.

McBride will keep his spot in the starting XI.

I do not think Collins John is all that effective as a winger and/or attacking midfielder. I think he is an all out striker. I think he would not be doing the team much good in the midfield.

I can't wait to get everyone healthy. It will be a nice problem come selection time when everyone is healthy.

    My prediciton: Fulham 1-0.

    My thoughts:
    We will play a 4-4-2
McBride will start and at best, Collins John will come in as a sub because he is an all out striker.

My prediction 2-0 Fulham...Fulham has almost sold out its whole allocation of tickets for this match. Be prepared to hear some singing...

On an added note, I truly hope we get to hear Gentleman Jim on the commentary for Saturday.

Speaking of the radio commentary, I finally figured out the problem last weekend during the match and I can now listen to it. I hope Jim is on the mic as well.

I meant to ask you about that...glad to hear you finally got it working, Jim had some great quotes in the match against the scum.

We should start a section of the site just for his quotes...

Looks like the Boa Morte injury is a litte more serious than I originally thought. It looks like he will miss the Manchester United match as well next week. Crossley will miss that match as well. Other injury news here:

Coleman should play a 4-4-2. It worked very well against Scum and should work against one of the worst teams in the Premiership. We got quality chances against one of the best defenses in Europe with that formation. Also Mcbride should start. Whenever he plays he does well he should start. We should win this match by one or 2 goals maybe 2-1.

A massive win for Fulham today. It was only 1-0, but we had some chances to make it more. We deserved the win and it was great to see the 4-4-2 in action. McBride played well once again. I hope we see more of him in the starting XI. It definitely sounded like a team effort. We need to build on this and continue forward against Manchester United. COYW!!!!
