Fulham travel to OT to face Manchester for the second week in a row. Good news is that their back line is furhter weakened with Fortune out with an injury and Saha is Cup tied. Sava is also back after a lengthy injury with Hayles and Clark. Bad news is that Sir Alex is a little pissed and vows to attack. Fulham v. Manchester United FA Cup I thought we played pretty well, but was not surprised at the final score. Old Trafford is a tough place to play from this American's eyes. I WAS surprised that Hayles did not start with McBride, as they had been playing pretty well together from what I have seen and heard. As my ManU rooting friend said, we can now concentrate on getting to Europe. What's the latest on Coleman? I hope he's getting better - he's a good manager.
I think it was a little too much to ask to win twice at OT in the same season. That beign said, it was a game that we could have drawn. Knight's shot hit the crossbar and a few other great saves by Howard and we could be onto the Semifinals. On the other hand, a few more the other way and we could have lost 4-1. It was a good run and i'm looking forward to next years competition. Coleman should be back for Leeds next week according to the Fulham website.
