Interview with the stand in captain Andy Cole from Fulhamfc.com. Things are looking up for the Whites according to Andy. Confidence is on the rise and the team is ready for the Newcastle match. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/displaynews.asp?id=5561
On the Sky Sports website on the Fulham team page they say Pembridge might quit Wales. Also on the team page on Sky Sports they have a wallpaper with Andy Cole after he scored the goal on Saturday.
Well Yeovil boss thanks Liam Fontaine. He says he was a great servant over the last 3 months. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/y/yeovil/3987087.stm
I am wondering if this guy will figure at all in Cookie's plans or if he will send him out on another loan?
Maybe Coleman should try and get Fontaine to a League 1 team or maybe just maybe a Championship team.Fontaine according to the Yeovil boss did well so there would probably be a couple of League 1 teams that might want him.
Just a loan.He should play some Reserve matches and if Coleman wants to get him some more 1st team playing time then loan him to a League 1 team. BTW how is Stuart Noble doing at was it Torquay?
While I think nothing will come of this, it looks as though Fulham have opened up talks with Eddy Van Der Sar about a contract extension. I think he is gone in January or at the longest, the end of the season. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/headlinenews?id=315866&cc=5739
A nice little piece from FulhamFC.com with Cookie about the match yesterday and the spirit of the team. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/displaynews.asp?id=5598

As expected there are a few Fulham matches that will be televised on Fox Sports World in December. The first of which is on Monday, Dec. 13th against Manchester United. The Live Match is on Fox Sports World at 2PM CST. If you are at work, there will be a replay that same night at 7PM CST. Fulham also plays the following Monday, Dec. 20, at the Valley against Charlton. Once again the match starts at 2PM CST and is replayed at 7PM CST. The Arsenal-Fulham match played on Boxer's Day, Dec. 26th will also be shown on TV, but details of it are yet known. I am guessing it will be on tape delay in the afternoon, but I will let everyone know as soon as I find out.
Fulham's Youth Team advanced to the 4th round of the Youth FA Cup with a 2-1 win over Birmingham. Here is the story: http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/displaynews.asp?id=5727
Fulham's CEO, Jim Hone, got the sack today. Interesting timing on this move as it occurred in January with potential moves being worked on. I wonder what the whole story is on this one. Here is the link from the official page: http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/displaynews.asp?id=5817
Hone has a reputation as a beancounter. There is speculation on the FFC messageboard that Coleman convinced Al Fayed, over Hone's objections, to spend some serious money during the transfer window. There are other theories as well but let's hope this is the right one.
