Who said we’d leave Piojo for a full cycle?

I'm perfectly fine with him in the bombero role as long as he gets us out of the group.

Anyone with a soul will do just fine. Shoot just give the job early to either Atlas' or Pachuca's head coach.

But Piojo wasn't the strategist. Sure, they ran his preferred formation but he always had someone else do the strategy. There was an article pre-world cup where he talked about it and I'm trying to find it. With the right guy I would be on board with Piojo coming back.

    Lol no!

C'mon no mames, Piojo has done nothing to warrant his return.

If that's the case give it to Cocca, Almada or even Lozano.

No! Piojo, is, and should be the only choice.

Just give me some one who acts like they give a damn.

    Cocca, Alamda, Piojo, Lozano.

You can put Dorismar in front of Tata and 10 blue pills... this bastard still won't get hard.

It’s funny to me that Torrado is the director of the national national team and seems to be showing no signs of wanting a change. Last coach who was this stubborn imo was chepo who torrado had full benefit from

i almost wonder if providing continuity is something the FMF realizes they need to do in order to attract future prospects

Firmly on the side that Martino should be let go even today but Mexican press really does suck. We got the press we deserve lol

I think Bielsa would last like a month after getting harassed over questions about why he chose to watch the soccer match of his next WC rival instead of the last inconsequential practice before a friendly game

I don’t think he has the chemistry with the team but we can have Pep or whoever and it will be the same story.

On the response on why he prefers an associative 9, I can see why am in form RJ9 was his choice.

RJ was really good before his injury for this style play. I know it’s not popular but Funes (in shape) does this well. Santi is trying to get there but not sure he has the experience yet. Out of the 4, it’s going to be a touch choice and an unpopular decision.

Its a shame that this head injury happened. I thought he was top 10-15 at that time.

think it’s fair to question Martino’s lack of tactical flexibility then or unimaginative approach to trying out new strikers who can do that association play that he likes in Raúl and Funes Mori instead of insisting on two guys currently injured and one of them with almost 2 years of bad form

have long felt like playing with a lone striker just isn’t really cutting it for us, at least rn

But our media sucks and doing anything besides stirring up unnecessary drama

If we had to be completely fair to Tata, Raúl is damaged goods at this point, Martín and FM are not starter material (pero son lo que tenemos), and Bebote is way too green to be leading the line in Qatar. I'm also of the thought that Cheech scoring against semi-professional defenses should be taken into account.

Yeah don’t think Tata ever counted on Cheech just refusing to apologize and humble himself until too late as well but Martino’s awful decision-making and player selection, conservative approach and tactical rigidity has brought him here and he also doesn’t have anyone else to blame but himself here

the only thing he can do now is just express his frustration during press conferences
