I have said it on here before, it's a culture thing. When Germans fail, that people back home and then depressed always question their mindset and having the winners mentality. In Mexico it's always something about passion, playing for the Jersey and willing to die in the name of the tricolors. At least that's just the soccer press, fans can be as bad but some people dig deeper and look at tactics and game plan.
My point is that tactics, formation and squad selection are what matter, more than mindset and passion.
Yep - but fans of one of the clubs that he coached see it differently for the most part It's 99% those people who ask for him
We as Mexican fans put too much weight on clubs, for me it will always be country over club. Way too many Mexicans do not think like that. Just one of many examples, I was at the Canelo fight in Vegas a couple weeks ago and a couple dudes one wearing America jersey and another Atlas were jawing back and forth, who gives a ******** in that situation. It's a boxing match you paid good money to watch, support Canelo and move one, leave the clubs out of it.
Tacticians come up with crazy schemes that they fall in love with and insist on implementing, like playing with no 9 or no wingers... imagine some idiot tactician who is so into himself and his system that he leaves Santi or Chucky out of the WC. We already had that happen once not a fan of that happening again.
