They showed the Leed/Pompey game at 2:00 and the Newcastle/Chelski game at 4. I figured I could watch both games back to back without knowing either result. However, after the first game, one of the idiots at FSW decided it would be a good idea to show the scores from the other matches from the day...INCLUDING the match they were about to show 5 minutes later. So I didn't even bother watching the 2nd match. Another brilliant move by the people at FSW.

Rivaldinho, I shouldn't have sent your post away, and I apologize for that. So, thanks to the magic of copy-and-paste, here's what you had to say:

The halftime and end of game graphics look like they are produced by Fox. If you are planning to watch another game on tape delay avoid them, because they often give results of games that haven't aired yet.

    Jorge Moron should be fired!

I agree. Made up my mind whether to watch the NY/NJ vs. NE live or my team, Newcastle on tape.

Yes and no. The F'ing producer, Jorje Moran (or whatever) should have known that the Newcastle game, which took place later in the day than the brilliant Pompey victory, would have not been spoiled at all by match announcers Anyone tuning in 5 minutes before the match should not have expected to see the score plastered on the screen. They even went out of the way to point out that the Arse/Spurs results would be shown, so you could avoid that if you wanted to. Since the A/S match was already aired on PPV, the score could have reasonable been aired without really pissing too many people off. However, since the first freaking broadcast of the Newcastle game was to follow the Portsmouth game, someone somwhere should have thought not to spoil the Newcastle score. You might have even gotten a few more viewers by having Max say "The Newcastle/Chelsea thriller willl follow this match if you want to see it" since they didn't pimp it AT ALL this weekend in the blue bar. I only found out it was on by accident. Maybe if they're lucky, I'll watch it on one of the 2 replays tomorrow. BTW when will they replay the Leeds/Portsmouth match? Probably never. Way to F up, FSW!

    No Thx,

    Jay!

I think they do this for the Latin America/FS en Espanol audience, neither of which airs as many EPL games as FSW/PPV. Usually 1-2 on Saturday (2 in Latin America, 1 in the US), and 1 on Sunday, plus 1-2 for midweek programs.

I missed the Pompey-Leeds match and as far as I can tell it's not going to be replayed. I don't know what the thinking behind this is but its a big match for both sides and deserves at least ONE replay.

If you have bought the PPV game, you would have known the Newcastle/Chelsea score already, because Arse needed 1 point to clinch the championship, that's repeatedly mentioned during the telecast. That's possible only if Chelsea had lost to Newcastle.

Did you guys see Arse's whole team celebration after the Spurs game?

There was a triple header of games. Leeds/Pompey followed by Newcatle/Chelsea folowed by Spurs/Arsenal. Assuming that most people didn't order the ppv, FSW could have easily shown the first two games without giving away the result. They killed their audience for the 2nd game by making a stupid mistake.
