Seriously, DC gets 10 games on FSW and 5 games on ESPN2 for a grand total of 15 nationally televised games. That is half their season.

FSW admits that most of their televised games are from the east coast or midwest, due to the time slot constraints and hurried negotiations. Of course there is more than one pro soccer team in the midwest and east coast. Oh well, it is better than nothing...a whole lot better.

Sounds good to me. DC should be fun to watch this year.

As someone in a soccer-regional area, I'd rather see the Revs with 3 or 4 combined games on espn and fsw than the 15 or so they have. They already have their games televised locally, so every national game the Revs are on is a chance to see another game that I miss.

At least we have a package w/ FSW now. They will do a better job than ESPN. ESPN doesn't even show MLS on sportscenter the games that were on their station.

We always get screwed on the West Coast, but hell, at least we have the Cup. Just make sure they mic up Ray Hudson each game and I'll watch.

And you'd rather watch cricket than European soccer.

I mean, if we wanted to watch bad hair and flopping around in pain, we'd all watch survivor.

All this and remarkably DC will not have 5 of its road games on TV this year.

Well if Columbus has 15, they should be fun to watch this year with all those fowards. I really want to see this bunch of boys Ray has assembled in D.C., especially if they turn out good, but probably not 15 times.

Seriously, I may have to shield my eyes from over exposure to hairy chested Bulgarians.

About time that we don't have to watch the CRAPY ESPN anymore. Even the cartoon network would do a better job than ESPN. BRB.... I'm gonna call Directv and see if they can cancel my ESPN.

Thank God for FSW. I'll get to watch the Earthquakes one more time! Y'all should be grateful.

    for the ten billionth time

games will be on espn2 AND fox sports world

this isn't a move from espn2, this is in addition to espn2... and fsw only reaches 12 million households, while espn2 reaches 90+ million homes

the league would like *some* mainstream exposure, you know

    Jim,

If you keep insisting on injecting facts into the discussion, you will seriously cramp the amusing ranting and raving
