So I got the call tonight telling me that the grandfathering in of FSW (and presumably other channels) from AT&T to Comcast is no more.

In the spirit of recon, I asked "Jessica" whether it would be available on a more expensive package. She said no.

In the spirit of pitching a fit, I didn't remember to get a date as to when the change would happen. Sorry.

How can that last--Comcast's pay-package sports offerings are abysmal, when compared to DirecTV's. Purely from the standpoint of competition, I would think it would return as filler in the Digital Sports Tier, which is, ironically, being rolled out at the same time elsewhere, as they're pulling the World back there.

I've still got it on mine. In fact, it's on a premier tier that I pay an extra $5 a month to have. I called yesterday and the guy said FSW is moving to a different "sports tier" that will still be $5 a month, but that I'll be notified before it does.

For right now, I've got FSW on two different channels - 401 and, now, 267.

But if it goes away from Comcast here, it's dish time.
