@Tally T , indeed Bobby started from scratch, he built that program from the ground up, starting with Ron Simmons.
It was FSU and the Seven Dwarves when we joined, for sure. Also, people (and by that, I mean SEC keyboard warriors) forget that the SEC was just as awful until ESPN bought them. Hard to compare who was the better coach (Bowden vs. MK), as two different disciplines and roster management is totally different. Both were great for FSU, and I'm thankful they repp'd the G&G.
From an outsider, I think Krikorian, Dorrance, Clive Charles, and Santa Clara's Jerry Smith each was (is, in Smith's case) a "one of a kind" coach. (Katie Shields at St Louis may be too, time will tell). I think they are in a different class than other coaches, some of which may be very good. But I think comparing that small group to other coaches is almost apples to oranges.
Brave new world currently with NIL and egos. BP got some humble pie last season, hopefully he learns and moves forward.
Swanson belongs on that list. Just ask insiders and players. One of the best developers of talent there is.

Huff and Clair Rain--two outstanding athletes and players--left Tennessee for FSU after new Vol coach Kirt screwed up the '21 team after Pensky left. Kirt inherited a team that had won 20 games the previous year, including SEC Tourney title, and had 10 of 11 starters back--with three all SEC players (the other being Jordan Fusco, who later left to play her senior year at PSU and who is now on the roster of San Diego Wave. Huff and Rain might have left after the '21 season anyway--but going from 20 wins to 11 wins pretty much assured their departure.
Ashlyn Puerta will forgo her remaining three years of eligibility as she has signed with SC Jacksonville of the USL Super League.
So I looked up USL Super league and Wiki gave me this. The league consists of eight clubs who annually play four round-robins – two in the fall and two in the spring – to earn four places in a playoff tournament that determines the league's champion. Additional clubs are expected to join the league in the future. Clubs in the league have no cap on salaries or squad sizes, while minimum salaries are around US$35,000 to 37,000. There is no draft system, and squads are primarily built with free agents. The league's matches are streamed nationally on Peacock. Seems like a very short sighted move for such small $s, but good luck to her. A good college degree is worth much more, but maybe she is all about soccer and only soccer.
I wish AP nothing but the best. I would imagine young women coming from the west coast get a big culture shock! There are woods around Tally that make the movie Deliverance look tame.
In a bit of an ironic twist, Jenna fulfills her lifelong dream of winning the champions league. Her lifelong dream of playing in the champions league remains unfulfilled.

How many 2026 recruits does FSU have now? Seems so many have reclassified to 2025! Lauryn Thompson (2026) has also played for England U17 WWC team w Omotara.
They have 3 currently Lauryn Thompson, Sydney Schmidt, Ryder Ajeto and likely will add 2-3 more Top 2027 players who will reclassify to 2026.
Unfortunate news to report from the TST tournament. Ryder Ajeto appears to have suffered a non-contact injury that looks suspiciously like an ACL injury at the very end of the Final. She was one of Bumpy Pitches best players with several goals and assists. Hoping for the best for her, but it didn't look good.
She still has her senior year to go before FSU. Hate it that kids are tearing their ACLs at an alarming rate these days.
