We do get our info from different sources, still doesn't mean you can dismiss my factual statements without proving them wrong. Are you denying Medvichuk is on house arrest in Kyiv since 2021 and his tv stations shutdown in Feb. 2021 in a move even Europe disapproved of? Or do you support those actions?

Ukraine's enormous wealth & resources were stolen by oligarchs, there are like 4 clans of oligarchs that rule Ukraine and you are lecturing Russia about it haha? Putin rooted out the mafia in Russia and limited their oligarchs. Its not easy to recover from 80 years of communism, its a miracle some competent non-drunktard came to power. Russian Gov't is very responsible in their spending and economy, they don't max out their credit cards with imaginary money they don't have like USA haha...

Time to get Ukraine back to work and being a powerful country. The fun & games of being a prostitute by accepting IMF loans are over

If Russian economy didn't rely on oil and gas, they would be a bigger version of Somalia. To applaud Russian government for managing its economy is quite funny.

Medvichuk is mia as far as I know. And while I don't condone what was done to his "assets", being allied to Russia has its risks and dividends.....

Putin got rid of oligarchs and replaced them with a different set of Oligarchs.....for you to praise Putin for how he handled Khodorkovsky and then Magnitsky and to call him competent after he literally jails/kills every dissident similar to Stalin era is quite frankly shocking. You know, you could criticize Ukraine and their govt w/out brown nosing Putin. I guess if you deem Putin to be this amazing leader and US/Biden to be this evil regime, I am amazed you're still residing on this side of the Atlantic.

That indeed is a dilemma with Putin, I used to call him Sauron and his actions do resemble Stalin's (ironically Zelensky's do too, or would Mussolini be a better comparison?). I've come to the realization its too risky for Russia to change leadership frequently like a normal democratic republic who has been stable for centuries and not just 10 or 20 years. Communism destroys places and creates a rot that takes a half century to get out of. Just because you are supposedly 'capitalist' it doesn't mean things just magically get better. Its a long hard road to function, Russia is trying to get there and not cutting corners

So as much as you're surprised I'm living on this side of the Atlantic still, I'm flabbergasted your family was lucky to survive & escape Communism yet your voting patterns are slowly ushering the demise of USA and the rise of USSA (United Socialist States of America)

That would imply you know how I vote. :D I've been voting for 3rd party/Independent since Bush Jr days. I'm just not at all confused as to which regime I find more repulsive. And last I checked, nobody here gives a crap about my nationality, ethnicity, or other core beliefs.

I voted for Obama twice, Bernie in primaries over Hillary, and Trump twice after DNC rigged their own election. I was a classic snowflake but thankfully in my 30's realized wool was being pulled over my eyes

You know its bad when Putin has to give USA warnings he sees elements of 1905-1917 era in Russia taking shape in USA. and its true, some of our leaders are following the same playbook used to topple Russia

Ukraine has been going extremely woke since 2014, they're using 1619 Project tactics same way that's happening in Montenegro too. There's an age old racism against Slavs that most don't realize. There's something in Kievan Rus & Yugoslavia blood that Eugenic weirdos fear. We are strong, smart and soulful, the powers that be don't like. They want to divide us at the seams like they did in Bosnia (I was just there 6 months ago, Sarajevo is an amazingly multi-cultural city)

Sorry, guys, I've been missing in action all this time because I simply couldn't bring myself to even think about football in these last 6 or so weeks.

This is sickening. Russia is the 21st century fascist empire, bent on dominating its neighbors and carrying out real genocidal actions. Pictures from Bucha, which is right next to the old pioneer camps in Vorzel area where I spent several Summers in the 1980s, are disturbing. And I do not think the word "disturbing" is a capable description for what was going on there.

My uncle had a dacha in Bucha. Yesterday morning, he died of cancer in his home in Lake Worth, Florida, without even finding out that Bucha has now been liberated.

Hey bud, good to hear from you. Horrible that you had to come back to this thread and forum b/c of such events.

Maybe @FootyFan365 can now comment on what is happening in Bucha and Irpin. Still Azov's work?

Russians left Bucha on March 30th, the mayor of Bucha made a statement about it on March 31st with no mention of any atrocities. Then on April 2nd those video clips were released. Ukraine is holding its own on the battlefield and absolutely dominating in the propaganda war

My cousin is welcoming in another family to their home in Dnipro, this one is from Donbas to add with the ones from Kharkiv & Mariupol. They likely got the leaflets dropped from Russians asking residence to get out of the area while they can. The 50,000 Ukrainian army in Donbas will be obliterated, likely why Zelensky fired 2 Generals the other day who had the audacity to talk reality & common sense with him

Educate myself from the NYT lol?

Did people lose cell phone signals in Bucha like in Mariupol or no? and why are Russians killing civilians in Bucha but not in Kherson & Melitopol?

Also you do know citizens of Mariupol have accused Ukrainians of shooting civilians the way they are accusing Russians of doing in Bucha right? Have you seen any of the video footage of the dozens of Mariupol citizens safe now who gave their accounts of what hell on earth was like in Mariupol for a month? Or is that how sheltered you are and remain totally oblivious?

The most disgusting aspect of the Bucha story, is they are re-sharing a picture of a women found dead in the basement of a school in Mariupol with a swastika engraved on her body and drawn in her own blood, the weasels are saying its from Bucha when it was revealed in video footage by brave American journalist Patrick Lancaster. Lets see NYT go to Mariupol instead of writing fluff in 5-star hotels in Kyiv & Lviv with CNN and all your favorite fake ass media sources

Jesus f christ....ok, so NYT is not good enough? How many more sources do you need to believe it?

So NYT is lol, but anecdotal evidence is apparently something worth sharing? I've also heard 1000 accounts from various people and people who know people....shall we play that game? Give me valid sources for the information you're providing.

In regards to Mariupol, let's wait until journalists and the Ukrainian army can actually go in....I'm horrified to think what we will find there. And what am I oblivious too? How Russian forces pretty much Dresdened Mariupol? WTF are you even trying to say? That Ukrainians destroyed Mariupol?

Re Bucha - no, the image that is circulation is of a young girl (7-8 yrs old), naked, with her hands tied behind her back. I guess my sources are just really so poor that the photos from Bucha don't align with what you're seeing. But sure, ALL of the media is fake (cnn, bbc, reuters, etc....) except the ones you watch. Soloviev would be proud of you.

You do realize that Mariupol is in Donetsk Oblast and will sadly never be affiliated with Ukraine again right? Thank God the 250 Ukrainian soldiers surrendered today instead of fighting side by side with nazis to their death shortly. You likely didn't see or hear about that today either right?

I mean its not that far fetched a concept Azov would destroy Mariupol along with the Russians shelling them out of 9 story apartments hiding among civilians like Palestinian pvssies. If you know how Ukraine shelled Donetsk city for 8 years with disregard for Minsk Agreements shouldn't be that far-fetched

The fvcked up thing is Ukraine killed 20 people in Donetsk 2 weeks ago (think I already mentioned this here, 30 more injured) and all your favorite fake news remained completely silent about the blatant war crime. Wouldn't be surprised if you never saw the disgusting scenes from Donetsk 2 weeks ago yet here you are parroting around Bucha outrage from the media. Sad how the innocent civilians of Donbas are Unworthy Victims, they don't even exist to most people

If you want a better idea of feelings in Mariupol watch some of this guys videos, if you want to live in some denial go ahead. The woman in this video says what many have been alleging, the drama theater in Mariupol possibly hit by the Azov nazis who are mad that locals are proper Ukrainian-Russian folk, not the Polish-Austrian ultra-nationalist psychos from Galicia. She said they risked their lives celebrating May 9th with these lunatics in their city. Surely you've all seen videos around Ukraine of May 9th celebrations being sabotaged and 90 year old legends being physically assaulted in Kharkiv etc. right??

I saw a video of alleged Ukrainian soldiers (no insignia) surrendering to I don't know who. Whether it's fake or not I've no idea. If they are alive and will be exchanged with Russian POWs, fine by me. The rest of your post is pure gibberish and has zero evidence or proof. I guess the entire world, all of the media sources, all of the news outlets decided to gang up on poor Russia when they try to honorably liberate the poor souls of Donetsk and Lugansk from swarms of Nazi loving Ukrainian-speaking fascists. Also, these poor Russians were just about to be hit by a sneaky attack of Ukrainian pigeons bred in join efforts of US/Ukrainian lab scientists set on destroying the peace and democracy of Putin utopia. Anything I missed from your news sources or did I leave something off?

Marine veteran provides a lot of clarity. He's one of the bloke's who created the tactics & strategy of the Iraq invasion, probably a good source on the topic of war. Goes a long way to explaining why Zelensky fired 2 General's a few days ago

He also confirms the question I asked you Yasik that you ignored. Bucha indeed was allowed to keep their cell phone signal throughout the multiple week Russian occupation of Bucha. Hope I don't need to explain the significance of that to a topic of 'genocide' and 'war crimes'

Would highly recommend listening to it. He's the ex-Marine who exposed Bush lies about WMD's in Iraq as well as drawn up tactical maneuvers in the Iraqi war of Desert Storm

Btw I already saw that video you shared with me today. I follow several pro-Ukraine pages and it made the rounds. Bucha atrocities would have been known to the world in the 3rd week of March since their cell phone service was never cut off. You'd have to be an absolute imbicile to think Russia is torturing civilians when the whole objective is to incorporate Ukraine together again instead of destroying it. Then when you take into account none of this is happening in Kherson or Melitopol it further establishes how ridiculous that sounds. Funny how England refused to send in 3rd party investigations when Russia called for it at emergency UN meeting. Desperate times calls for desperate measures.
