    Amazingly, I just realized I get FSC in HD on Comcast as part of my sports package ($5 a month I think). There was no announcement that I noticed. I just happened upon it today. I'm not sure how much of their programming is really HD, but even their low-def shows at least look somewhat better in HD.

    Must be where you live, because I still don't get it in Mass.

    Nice, I have it now too. Looks like it was just added in the DC area a few days ago.

    As far as I can tell, it's all HD except for Fox Soccer Report. (This is due to their transponder not being in HD, but this show is going off the air in a few months anyway, so not too much to worry about.)

    Your post just illustrates the need for TV providers to:
    1) Organize their lineups by theme and channel;
    2) Organize their HD lineup in one solid block of channels. In this day and age, I have no idea why FOX Soccer might be channel 158 in SD, but 792 in HD. If it's channel 158 in SD, it should either be channel 158 on an HD box, or channel 1158;
    3) The ability to block certain channels you don't have interest in. Actually, you may be able to set up "favorite" channels, and then have your on-screen guide set to only show favorite channels.

    That would be so great! Anyone know how to do that on COMCAST?

    Watch them put it on a "International package" or something else that probably costs $15 per month. (Some sarcasm intended, but I don't see an easy path for BeIN Sports. Look at Setanta, or more recently, Fox Soccer Plus.)

    I was hoping Apple's announcement today would go some way to killing the traditional TV broadcast model, but sadly nothing.

    Don't have it in Chicago. The premier league games look like complete shit. Worse than standard definition - it's really frustrating.
