No sign of him on the field or the bench according to ESPN. Any word about an injury or COVID quarantine? Frosinone seems to have the entire squad on the bench so one woud have to wonder about his fitness?

I could only find one article with information, and it was vague. It said he is still dealing with injuries from the playoff final.

Novakovich came off the bench in the 70th minute as Frosinone opened their Serie B campaign with a 2-0 home loss to Empoli today.

They lost at home 1-3 to a Serie C club and are out of the Coppa.

Nova does not appreciate being relegated to the 3rd page. Comes off the bench in the 51st minute to score the opener for Frosinone against Venezia. Frosinone go on to win 2-0. First 3 points of the season for the team.

It was a pirouette off the dribble & then slid it in front of the keeper for Ciano to slam home. Mostly Novakovich on that one.

He's one of our best right now taking on players, in spite of being in a 2nd division & a cf. When he gets on the edges w/ the ball, that's when he's at his most dangerous.

Scores now. Nodded home a header on the doorstep. Not much to do, but make sure he got high enough. However, doesn't get many sitters w/ Frosinone.

Pescara is bottom of the table. Frosinone could play fb more than usual, albeit still on the counter, & enjoyed higher frequency of chances. Novakovich could have put another stat on the board w/ better teammates or more precision himself.

In the end still a very strong individual & team performance. 2-0 Frosinone, on the road. Novakovich w/ a creative assist & poacher goal. 3 goals+assists thru 5 games. Hadn't played more than 45 minutes up until this 90. Best guess is quick turnaround from last season, when they wore him out.

Taylor Rockwell relayed there are rumors he could move up to Serie A in January. I can't find corroboration for that.

If the serious interest is genuinely there, I still think Frosinone would want to keep him thru the season for another run at promotion over a couple million dollar return. The former is worth much more. They currently sit in a tie for 3rd.

I guess he'd have to play really well (w/ production) & see Frosinone fall to firmly mid-table, which is an unlikely combo.

With today's win they move into 3rd place, but some other teams play tomorrow. I have no idea why a Serie A team would want Nova though, although stranger things have happened.

Just throwing darts in the dark but I listen to Sirus FC 'The Football Show' and the guys on there are big Serie A fans and they are saying that Conte at Milan has built his team around a big space eating CF in Lukaku and they cant seem to buy a backup. They stated that Conte was very inflexible in the way he likes to play. Conte wanted Giroud but could not pull the trigger on the money needed. Could Conte and Milan be looking at a Economy version in Nova?

From what I remember about Nova is that he’s more Kenny Cooper 2.0 than an economy version of Lukaku or Conor Casey type who just likes to bully opponents and score headers.

One correction, its Inter. Milan is designated strictly for AC Milan lol.

I also dont know if Conte will be there much longer. He is driving their board insane and the results have not been there so far this year.

Nova could fit a mid tier/lower half of table side though. Sides like Spezzia, Cagliari, and Benevento play a style Nova could fit in
