My mistake. The flipping video switches off immediately when the last name is shown & it was blocked by the navigation bar.

Yes, he came off the bench early in the second. First time, he's usually a starter.

Truth be told, he's earning himself the bench.

Novakovich has some qualities that I really like to see in a CF but looking at his career body of work, it's just not very impressive. He has to produce more.

Yea, he is turning 24 soon. You'd like to see more goals. 3 goals and 7 assists isn't awful though for a first season at this level. Sometimes these types of players take some time. Raul Jimenez didn't really have a breakout season until he was 27 or so. Not saying that's what's going to happen or anything but it's possible for someone like him. I like his game from what I've seen.

Lost 2-0 today and fall from 3rd to fifth in the table and 3 points off of 2nd and automatic promotion.

Novakovich came on in the 53rd minute to be exact.

It's been a typical Serie B game, with the teams studying each other for the first half. Not fun to watch, but if you feel like it...

Total defensive collapse by Frosinone, two goals in a row early in the second and now they're down 2-0.

    -----

All the good things are coming from interplay by Zampano, Rohden and Dionisi on the right. Nova totally ignored on the left.

    -----

Frosinone changed their entire 3-man midfield but they still suck. Most of the balls sent to the forwards are prayer ones, that end with the defenders. I don't see them getting anything from this. Nova has the mobility, in the area, of a Mt. Rushmore face.

    -----

Only reason this is still 2-0 only is because Dio é Grande. Chievo deserves the third already.

Novakovich gets the start as 6th place Frosinone host 4th place Spezia, who Frosinone trail by 2 points, at 3 eastern. Forsinone enter the game on a 4 match scoreless drought.

3rd through 8th make the promotion playoffs in Serie B, though the 3rd and 4th placed teams advance straight to the semifinal round while the 5th through 8th placed teams have to go through a preliminary round.

And Frosinone score the winning goal in the 85' --Nova had been replaced a few minutes before, though. 2-1.

He’s in the starting 11 again today. I’m calling it right now, he scores today. It’s been a minute since his last goal. Rep me if/when I’m right! Game starts in 15!

And with that, he will have 4 assists but no goals.

Lost 2-0 and finished with 10 after the Swiss guy got a second yellow. Frosinone sliding fast towards mid-table and only 4 points away from missing the promotion playoff. Their current record for the last five games is draw, loss, loss, win, loss.

Dionisi lost his good form, Ciano had a knock, so they have been counting on Nova to score. Which means no one is scoring.

1-1 at the half. They need a good result to keep in the playoff spots. I guess the best that can be said of Nova is that he's pulling defenders away from Paganini and Ciano.

And Juve scores, 1-2, from a FK. Nova's man got free behind him and headed it.

    ----

Since the last goal Nova has been active in the area, moving a lot, pushing, hustling, trying to get his head to every cross and getting constantly frustrated by Fazio, who always manages to get there first. He's losing his cool a bit, gesticulating where he wants the ball and always getting it on the wrong side.

    ----

And that's game for Nova: out at 68'. It'd be a bad game but frankly half the team has been just as poor, so it's not so bad.

    ----

Ardemagni, the old guy who came in for Nova, just earned a PK and it's 2-2 now. That's something Nova is lacking: he has to learn to go down in style.

And Ardemagni, the old guy who came in for Nova, got himself two yellows in fifteen due to his big mouth and crass manners, and Frosinone ended with 10. 2-2 final score.

And I thought the Swiss system for determining the Europa League spot was confusing:

At the end of the season, three teams are promoted to Serie A and four teams are relegated to the reformed Serie C (formerly Lega Pro Prima Divisione). The top two teams are automatically promoted. If the 3rd-placed team is 10 or more points ahead of the 4th-placed team, it is automatically promoted too, otherwise a playoff tournament determines the third team that will be promoing in the 2013–14 season, anywhere between two and six teams within a "playoff margin" of 14 points from the 3rd-placed team will enter the playoff tournament. Under the new playoff format, up to three rounds may be required. The final two rounds are two-legged ties, while opening round matches (if required) are single legs hosted by the higher-ranked team. If a tie is drawn at the end of regular play (one or two matches, depending on the round), extra time is played. If the two teams are still tied after thirty minutes, the higher classified team advances.
