What excites me is that four more teams means at least 80 more US players if you count all the Prop 40's and developmental players. Many will be A league journeymen but I would expect a half dozen Nat-Borchers-types to take advantage of the opportunity and step forward. There's probably some players not getting playing time now who will get a great chance to develop when the expansion happens. The only sure way to increase way to increase the USMNT pool is to increase the number of US professionals.
