That's not how things like that work, do they? The overall chances that Leroy misses the next EC grew a lot with an ACL, especially forwards suffer further. Leroy also is a player who beats his man mostly by pure speed and therefore will suffer even more. It's too early but there is a chance, that we never again see the 'special' Leroy.
if he was moving to Bayern what was the point in starting him in the Community Shield? Even Sane did not expect to start the game.....
Gardiola saying today that sane never once told him he wants to leave hence he started every pre season game, and now he could be out for 6-7 months, a Hugh blow for city and germany
Then again gardiola could be playing mind games with bayern, remember that sane actually walked off from the pitch, normally a bad ACL injury you get stretched off, I could b wrong
Bad luck for the guy either way It's clear City did not want to sell him unless silly money was offered.
With injuries like that, will sane make a full 100% recovery without losing any of his electric speed?
ACL's tend not to be the disasters they used to be. The advances in sport medicine are astounding. OT but hopefully we will get to a point where people are not so anti doping at the application of substances to save careers may be applied. Well applied at least formally. Steroids should be allowed when it comes to injury recovery.
PEP @LeroySane19 is making big progress but still he’s not 100% fit. He has to be ready and fit. Every week he is getting better and after I will try to give him minutes to get back ASAP, but for this game, no.
Per this report, looks like Sane to Bayern is a done deal: https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-sign-leroy-sane-from-manchester-city-for-41m
