So......is FC DALLAS going to be spelled out in the seats anywhere?

I can't imagine purchasing 20,000 red seats and 1,903 white seats will be that much more expensive than going all red.

Lights. I see none of them and I wonder where they would go if they were there.

Ah, I got you. I know there are lights, but where they'll be is a good question indeed.

I see 4 towers near the corners. The top panel of each appears to have lighting.

I did. Those standing signs in the corners seem to be scoreboards, not lights.

You may be right, but it wouldn't seem sufficient to light a stadium.

Modern technology is amazing. It looks like the big screens/scoreboards are on both sides of the stage.

What do you think that those tall things in the corners are?

So do you mean the first 10 rows of 116 and 117; or the first 10 rows of 116 or 117?

Personally, I think the view might be best about midway up the section. That way, you have the chance to see at least a bit of what's happening at the far goal.

Logisitically, that would be tough to pull off at the moment.

However, we are doing the next best thing, which is to try and grow in that direction. One day, I'd like for us go all the way to row 30.

    Ah-ha.

    So 116/117 means 116 or 117 rather than 116 and 117?

it means 116 and 117, actually. it's like 20 rows of one section, only flattened and spread over two sections.

Eh, I'd probably go with "or." [Chairman Kaga]If memory serves me correctly[/Kaga-san], the sections are 24 or 25 seats wide. If we go two sections wide, then that's 48-50 seats. On an good day we get 100 people in The Inferno. I think we want to go more than two rows deep.

So why not use twenty rows in section 117?

That way you minimize the "down in front" factor that I'm afraid will pop up if the Inferno is spread out over the front rows of 116 and 117.

i was just commenting on what's set aside right now - two sections, first ten rows are set aside for us. i'm sure as ticket sales fill in the surrounding areas, it'll get more defined than that. Inferno seating is GA, though, so maybe they're going to give us plenty of room to expand into? i don't know, but i do know that as of right now they have the first parts of two sections set aside for us.

yuck, behind the goal sucks. Sorry, I'm sure ya'll will love it but I'm going cheap library side (gulp) and I'm yelling and I'm not changing and if the dads around me don't like it they can yell at me again like they did at Southlake.

That being said, I'm still joining the Inferno in January and the stadium looks amazing, hopefully they can write "FC Dallas" in the stands.

oh yea and suck it Chicago  , never heard a bunch of whinny little loser fans.....oh wait I have....DC.

Yeah, you're right. The slope of the stands reminds me of the Rose Bowl's.

It's too bad we couldn't have a slope similar to the Cotton Bowl's, though perhaps that's not economically feasible with this "big pit" design.
