Congrats to everyone associated with the Burn. Great news, not just for the club, but for MLS and American soccer. Can't wait for the stadium to open.

No roof, but an SSS is good can always add that later.

    Fantastic!

Another stadium for a visit in the future!

Hopefully this becomes a model of how to work with the community. Moreso, I hope this partnership extends long after the stadium is built and these kids in the area grow up with the Burn as "their team."

Big ups to all who helped make this happen. :)

Actually, some of the slideshow images show a roof over one side of the stadium.

I'm absolutely thrilled for not only Dallas Burn fans, but US Soccer in general! This is just fantastic and is another piece of evidence of US Soccer and MLS' growth. This will certainly help Dallas' attendance and MLS' credibility as a league and the fact that this is not a new DCU stadium does not take away my excitement at all. Congratulations especially to all of the Burn fans since you are the ones who will be blessed to spend so much time there. This has absolutely made my day.

From looking at the drawings, it looks as though there might be plans to build the stadium in 2 phases.

The first phase appears to have sideline seating alone with no roof (cap. 20000?). With the second phase, it looks as though they plan to partially roof one side and put seating in one of the endzones (cap. 25,000 or so?)

I just might have a reason for living now.

Since it's in partnership with FISD will they sell beer?
