Pumas looks pathetic, River is just toying with them.

Ailton has been the motor of the team.

    HT-Pumas 0-2 River

what a sad day for mexican futbol.

Could the loss by pumas be due to the preseason training. Seriously are they going on a vacation by going to cancun or are they going to train hard? I would like to know if all the top european teams go to the beaches of spain to get their preseason training or do they stay in their home locations and train. Going to hot vacation spots just doesn't seem like a good place to get "serious" training.

They still have the match this coming Saturday. If they get their clocks cleaned two weekends in a row, maybe a little concern is in order.

    Don't panic just yet.

This is pre-pre-season. The players have not even touched a ball for quite some time. Signings are still going on and teams rosters are not even finalized yet. Kind of reminds you of MLB Spring training... Arizona and Florida

going to resort is actually smart. The weather allows for players to practice. It tends to rain in some of the central regions of Mexico. Beach training is also good for resistance training. The resorts they go to are equipped with everything. Spas, suanas, beach fronts, full size professional fields.

Its nice of you guys to try to defend pumas, anytime you sted onto a feild, your only objective should be to win. Yes, america had its most of its first team (Pardo way plaing in the Gold Cup Final) against Man U's first team last year, and they played to a tie against the Defending Premier league champs. Ita wasnt untill halftime when the Subs came on that America gave up those goals to Man U's starters. Thats one of the problems with Mexican football today. They are content to just be good and arent overly concerned with winnig. The win should always be the ultimate priority, and i would expect someone like Hugo to know that.
