what a sad day for mexican futbol. Could the loss by pumas be due to the preseason training. Seriously are they going on a vacation by going to cancun or are they going to train hard? I would like to know if all the top european teams go to the beaches of spain to get their preseason training or do they stay in their home locations and train. Going to hot vacation spots just doesn't seem like a good place to get "serious" training.

This is pre-pre-season. The players have not even touched a ball for quite some time. Signings are still going on and teams rosters are not even finalized yet. Kind of reminds you of MLB Spring training... Arizona and Florida going to resort is actually smart. The weather allows for players to practice. It tends to rain in some of the central regions of Mexico. Beach training is also good for resistance training. The resorts they go to are equipped with everything. Spas, suanas, beach fronts, full size professional fields.
