half time and its 2-0, add to that a saved PK and it looks pretty good

i will not however draw any conclusions from this game (or at least this half) until after we see how we do at EURO2008.... we did beat Croatia before the WC if i recall correctly and it did not turn out too good for us

Marek, I didn't start watching until about the second goal, can you tell me how Wichniarek did besides that nice pass to set up "Lobo"?

Unless Zurawski does something awesome in the last 25 minutes of this match, this may be the last time that we see him in a NT uniform. After he came on, our offense seems to have slowed down a great deal. Abd he really has to STOP with these annoying back passes.

I think we should give him more time he still didn't get the chance to get his form back just wait and see how he does with Larissa. Also I think the offense slowed down greatly not because of Zurawski more like we are winning 2-0 lets just play more defensive. Problem was just counter attack didn't seem very solid as in the first half, passes weren't very sharp, kept losing the ball.

I would say it was an okay match we did what he had to do and I think we played a little too defensive. I think we were lucky Czech just didn't take their chances and could have easily scored. I think we looked solid and took our chances well enough to win.

It's nice to see a victory, they were missing Rosicky though. At least now we know we can beat them, lets not let it get past that and get all inflated like we did against Ecuador.

    P.S. Lobo is sick

Yeah, but we were missing Kuba! But I think that Brueckner's absence was the biggest reason for the Czechs demise...at times they seemed like a team without direction. This still doesn't lessen the value of our victory, it's a great morale boost for our team.
