I mean I care, but it seems there's less excitement with this cycle and I can't put my finger on as to why. Maybe it's the lack of playing time for our promising youngsters. Shit, there was more excitement with Sven around and he was a disaster.

I grant you sports in general yes, but this is La Seleccion Mexicana. It's not like it's basketball or football. If there's one thing I'll always be passionate about it's the National Team.

it's a down cycle with the team playing lackluster football despite the team getting results (for the most part). no young talent breaking out with the exception of Vega.
Something about this cycle that just doesn't excite me about el Tri games, but when the WC gets here I'm sure most of all will be back on the hype train.
NT games I tend to watch the most considering it’s not like they play every week like club teams or several times a week like in baseball, basketball, hockey, etc.
As others have said, it's just not that interesting this time around. The team has played boring, uninspiring football and also its a friendly. Imo the world cup not being in the summer also makes these warm up games 5 months out from the actual games that matter seem so much less interesting bc the players who make the final roster could change so much between now and then (as opposed to last time around when the warm up friendlies are a month or two away from the world cup).

Man you guys are going off a little too hard... The 2014 pre world cup cycle was horrific, yet we survived. Lets at least give the guys a chance in the big dance.
