glad i forgot then. Saw a few highlights. nothing special but glad to see some young players on the field.
Kinda crazy most of us were in the same boat. I legit had no idea there was a game, I stumbled on it around min 63 I don’t think I could be more turned off of a World Cup and football program, which is nuts as this will be a full home field advantage.. This was a January domestic league game and they still trot out guys like Romo, charly, Gallardo. Gallardo had played 115 games, what are you learning from putting him back out there? This team had no direction. I honestly have no expectations on when or how they’ll score a goal (and it was an own goal). There’s a handful of really talented players, but the era we are in is so bleak. Mexico football has taken a major step backwards.
Football in general is pretty unwatchable right now. I’m looking forward to being in Mexico for the World Cup but not too interested in going to matches and honestly not too interested in watching any matches outside of Mexico snoozefests.
There’s already murmurs about European counties possibly boycotting the World Cup thanks Trump so I have extremely low expectations for this tournament
