Is a molero truly a molero if there are no fans (ticket sales)?

It definitely seems to have affected his speed

His ball control and passing still looked good though

Mexico always looks awful in the final minutes against top ten teams, to be honest.

Mexico looked good but I have never rated De Boer as a coach... He was garbage at Crystal Palace, garbage at Atlanta in MLolS and then they let him have the NT... LOL

I actually just rewatched the highlights of that final and was thinking that both Netherlands and Soviet jerseys were cool. Dat CCCP...

They had some corny ass haircuts and mustaches that nerdy hipster bros been rocking lately...

One duse from USSR looked like he got a perm. LMAO.

    Indeed.

Another fun fact, Tim Krul was the goalkeeper for the Netherlands U17 team during the 2005 U17 World Cup. He was in goal during the semifinals where Mexico won 4-0.

How far in advance do they schedule these matches? I wonder if we'd play in the Netherlands if there was no pandemic and social distancing...

Ah, but if Wales had been playing Scotland you'd be all over watching those two sides battle it out.

The Euro friendlies were planned since last year but no rivals were set in stone in yet. I remember Italy, Germany, and Portugal were considered but this was all before the pandemic

Tim Krul was the goalkeeper in that U17 World Cup and he also was the goalkeeper in the 2014 friendly we won 3-2 in Amsterdam. Hope the guy ends his career in Mexico a la Gignac so he can get the bad taste out of his mouth.
