Glad we got the win but this was a frustrating game. Should have been up by at least 2 goals in the first if not for our crap finishing Team is looking solid in maintaining possession and putting pressure on the opposing team Aside from Moreno and Gallardo, the rest of the backline left much to be desired. And Hugo was just flat out terrible Memo and Talavera seem to have the GK spots on lock. It’s time for te younger goalies like Gudiño & Acevedo to step up. Corona needs to either retire for good or Jurado needs to find a new club because he’s a great goalie just rotting away at Cruz Azul
Horrible win not satisfied...........this should of been 5 to 1 in favor of Mexico. Our defense is terrible and any other team would of put us away. Oh yeah whos that idiotic keeper that looked nervous like a little girl from the get go. Is that really the 2/3rd best option we have in the Mexican League? If so God help us!
Still gets criticized yet he’s been one of the most consistent players on the NT for all of Tata’s tenure He’s shown to be reliable. Hope he keeps it up
He used to suck and now he doesn't. If people are sticking to hating on the dude then fine make fun of them, but you can't say he hasn't gotten a lot better since leaving MLS.
His time in Holland wasn’t great and he gets automatically dismissed because he went to mls. Some will never let it go, as long as he delivers as he’s done, I don’t care where he plays. He doesn’t look out place at all.
He never sucked. Maybe he’s gotten better but he was never bad. With the nt he’s gotten it done most of time. He’s naturally gonna get more space because the others will get more attention. He just needs to aprovech.
I mean, he’s not wrong. He wasn’t very good before and now he’s much better, in the same way Maza considerably improved.
It's pretty clear to most of us he has stepped up his game tremendously. I watched him a few times in the MLS, that's a caricature of the guy that plays at Chivas today. Your point that sometimes we hate on a guy just because he had a stint in MLS is well taken. I don't think that's what is going on here though.
It’s probably because Toño has been total garbage that he’s made Gudiño look good? I thought that since Gudiño took over halfway through this season he’s been such an improvement and has actually been reliable unlike Toño
