    Syria Friendly Record:
    vs KSA U-23: 3-1
    vs Qatar: 0-0
    vs Bahrain: 2-1

    China Friendly Record:
    vs Energie Cottbus: 0-2
    vs UAE: 0-0
    vs Hamburg SV: 0-4
    vs Lebanon: 0-0

So we can see from the record that Syria is quite productive while on the other side China is in a state of “infertility”. :D

Chinese fans are heavily criticizing Petrovic for his defensive play which made the Chinese team “erectile dysfunction”.

Not really. Currently China is in its worst condition due to the negative defensive football forced by its coach Petrovic to the players. The stupid coach also recruited many defensive players to play his favorite 4-5-1. And you have seen the results - scoreless in 4 games.

Below is the chronicle of the latest Chinese team condition:

-Soon after coming back from Dubai, Petrovic sacked 7 player from his team.

-U-23 Coach Dujkovic was shocked to hear the big 0-4 defeat China suffered at the hand of Hamburg SV. So he asked CFA Chairman Xie Yalong to permit him to go back to China and let his assistant to continue the U-23 European tour. He wanted to go home together with 3 NT players he borrowed from Petrovic and 5 U-23 players. But his request was rejected. Only 3 NT players and 1 U-23 player were allowed to come back to strengthen the NT against Lebanon.

-The friendly against Lebanon ended at 0-0. Li Weifeng, Wang Dong and Zhang Shuai were injured during the friendly. Especially Li Weifeng, the best Chinese defender who just came back from Europe had his nose bone broken when colliding with a Lebanon player. Definitely he cannot play against Syria.

-2 days later, another key defender Zhai Yanpeng had to retire from the NT due to embolism of brain. The absence of these 2 key defenders will surely weaken Chinese defense, while its attack remains sloppy.

-Finally CFA allowed Dujkovic to go home. He was allowed to bring 2 U-23 players home. The 2 players are Feng Xiaoting and Zhu Ting. Feng Xiaoting will replace injured Li Weifeng in defense while Zhu Ting, who scored 1 goal each against USA-23 and Energie Cottbus and 2 goals against Bayern Munich, is hoped to cure the "infertility" disease. :D

-In yesterday training, Petrovic divided the players into 2 groups, but Zhu Ting and Feng Xiaoting were told to play in the Reserves Group.

Before I described the latest condition of the Chinese team, 6 voted for China and only 2 voted for Syria while 1 said it would be a draw. Now the votes became 7 for China, 7 for Syria and 2 for a draw. Wow! It means my description influenced the voting. :D

It is 15.00 in China. So China welcomes Syria in Middle Eastern climate so that Syria can play at its best. :)

There is no report about the arrival of the Syrian team. The reports of Chinese media concentrate on how the Chinese team changes from day to day.

    Quoted from http://sports.sina.com.cn/n/2008-01-26/16573444177.shtml

足协高层已经明确指示,“最后一场热身赛,非胜不可。”(The high level executives of CFA have clearly indicated: "Must win the last friendly!".

Don't know what happens if China cannot win over Syria. Fire Petrovic?
